The Baillie Group's Rip Line is looking to add some motivated Finished Goods Handlers to join our team. Located near beautiful Upstate, NY we are a leading commercial hardwood lumber manufacturer that is experiencing exponential growth, producing a variety of building products for numerous industry sectors. Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Detail oriented
  • Self-motivated, organized and able to multi-task
  • Great attitude
  • Standing for long periods of time, bending and stooping
  • Employment is contingent on successfully passing a physical examination, including drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferred
  • Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide, read a measuring tape, calipers, digital indicators)
  • High School degree preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Identify the sort for the carts you are responsible for.
  • Placing finished products into the correct carts according to the width & Length of the pieces.
  • Place each piece with the following criteria: Top, bottom and outside pieces will be the longest All edges will be free of knots, wane, and other defects Bundle must be square with edge boards against the pipes of the cart Build each bundle until full and finish off with a nice top layer
  • Push out finished bundle for forklift to remove
