Finishing Carpentry
About The Position
The ideal Candidate for finisher is a true craftsman responsible for the installation of air conditioning units, door frames, doors, door hardware, tile floor, epoxy floor, Caulking, windows, and cable ladders. Able to complete finishing tasks in a timely manner with quality work. Essential Job Functions Assist in hanging doors, installing hardware, locks, etc. Trim openings Assist in installing air conditioning equipment Install cable ladder per print Assist in installing CFE equipment, generators, fire suppression, etc. Interpret engineering drawings Tile and paint flooring Clean buildings Secure equipment and Shiploose material Apply caulking Install windows Perform other tasks as required by supervisor
Requirements
- Two (2) to three (4) years' experience and/or related training.
- Ability to carry read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Knowledge of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Ability to solve problems in variety of standardized situations.
- Forklift experience
