About The Position

Various utility and housekeeping functions assigned by area supervisor. Safely operates finishing mill cranes to support FM operations Operates coil walking beam conveyors and associated coil handling equipment. Support routine maintenance activities, downturn work, mill inspections and preventative Maintenance checks.

Requirements

• Strong safety awareness
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic)
• Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently without direct supervision
• Team player who has demonstrated ability to work well with others and independently
• Quality and detail oriented
• Mechanically inclined
• Willing to work scheduled and unscheduled
• Ability to work routinely in a hot
• Repetitive stretching, reaching, lifting and walking will be required to support routine responsibilities.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
