About The Position

The Finishing Technician is responsible for the manual sanding, trimming, bonding, and assembly of composite parts to meet engineering specifications. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with hand and power tools, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices for finishing tasks.
• Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing schedules, and multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and continuous improvement.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance, accountability, and ability to follow through on commitments.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Manually sand or trim composite parts according to engineering drawings.
• Bond and assemble composite parts using rivets, fasteners, and adhesives.
• Ensure assemblies meet bonding material and engineering specifications.
• Prepare composite surfaces by filling and sanding to required finish standards.
• Advise management on best manufacturing practices for efficiency and quality.
• Follow all health, safety, and workplace policies.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
