As a Finishing Technician at TenX Manufacturing, you will play a key role in preparing and finishing urethane-casted parts and components from various departments to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in trimming and finishing operations
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, prints, and quality specifications
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
  • Physical dexterity and ability to perform precision work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and production demands
  • Safety-conscious mindset with adherence to all safety guidelines

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with urethane finishing and trimming is a plus
  • Paint preparation and painting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Trimming urethane-casted parts using specialized hand tools such as knives, files, and dremels
  • Removing excess material while ensuring smooth edges, clean surfaces, and proper dimensions
  • Performing surface preparation tasks including sanding, polishing, and other finishing operations
  • Inspecting finished parts to verify conformity to design requirements and customer specifications
  • Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects or quality issues for corrective action
  • Following work orders, production schedules, and project plans to meet production deadlines
  • Safely handling, fixturing, and storing parts while they are in process
  • Maintaining and cleaning finishing tools and equipment to ensure proper operation and longevity
  • Reporting damaged or malfunctioning equipment for repair or replacement
  • Collaborating with casting and production teams to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Adhering to all safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
