About The Position

Production of castings from a molded to finished product for use by the end
user.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences in English.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Fork Truck Drivers License
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• This position requires the ability to successfully pass the respirator testing protocol and wear a respirator as needed.

Responsibilities

• Uses power and/or hand tools that may include air grinder, overhead air hoist, chipping hammer, punch, and screwdriver.
• May drive industrial equipment to move materials.
• Uses computer to obtain and/or input information.
• May aid in training of others.
• Provides suggestions for improvement of all our systems.
• Load and process castings on automated equipment.
