About The Position

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Helper to join our team of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position is based in our Houston, TX location. Primary duties - assist with the installation of fire alarm equipment under direct supervision of a licensed Fire Alarm Technician. May also assist with the service, repair and maintenance of fire alarm systems; under direct supervision of a licensed Fire Alarm Technician. Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and other employees in a respectful, professional manner. Must work safely, following OSHA and Firetrol safety policies and practices. Accurately complete required daily paperwork. Other duties as assigned. Some overtime, nights, weekends and on-call hours may be required. Work experience, training or education in the installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of alarm systems or related equipment is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided. Able to work in a variety of businesses and institutions including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education and government facilities. Must possess or be willing and able to obtain any applicable state licenses. A current Driver’s License is preferred. Must be able to satisfy State, Federal and Customs background check requirements.
