Vector Security is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to perform commercial fire alarm inspections across the greater Melbourne area. Location: Greater Melbourne FL Area Territory , including but not limited to : Titusville, Cocoa West, Cocoa Beach, Palm Bay, and Sebastian Summary: As a Fire Alarm Inspector , you’ll be the expert commercial customers count on to keep their fire alarm systems fully operational and code-compliant. This is an inspection-focused role, not installation; you’ll conduct thorough annual inspections, test all system components, identify deviations, and maintain detailed records across a multi-site territory including Titusville, Cocoa West, Cocoa Beach, Palm Bay, and Sebastian. What You'll Do: Conduct scheduled inspections and functional tests of commercial fire alarm systems to verify proper operation and code compliance Ensure all fire systems meet NFPA standards and applicable fire safety regulations, including NFPA 70 and 72 Test all system components through to the Central Station to confirm service is properly established Recognize and document deviations found during inspections and report through the appropriate programs Maintain accurate, detailed inspection records for every sit What You'll Need: High school diploma or equivalent 3 – 5 years of experience working with fire alarm systems ; commercial inspection experience strongly preferred Familiarity with commercial fire alarm panels; Silent Night, Fire Light, and Potter experience is a plus Knowledge of NFPA standards, including NFPA 70 and 72 NICET certification preferred; certification assistance is available for the right candidate! Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3 – 5 years of experience working with fire alarm systems ; commercial inspection experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with commercial fire alarm panels; Silent Night, Fire Light, and Potter experience is a plus
Knowledge of NFPA standards, including NFPA 70 and 72
