Fire & Security Installer – Description:
Overview -----Entry Level Position-----
· We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fire & Security Installer to join our team.
· This role is responsible for installing, programming, and commissioning life safety systems on commercial and industrial job sites.
· The ideal candidate works well independently, communicates effectively, and takes pride in delivering high quality workmanship.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a North Carolina background check.
• Clean, valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks without constant supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and system prints.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred 1 year of experience in the construction industry, preferably in electrical or low voltage trades.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to job sites (standard work schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM).
• Install Fire and Security life safety systems in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Perform installation tasks including: · Pulling and routing wire · Mounting and terminating devices · System programming · System testing and commissioning
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, contractors, and customers.
• Complete all documentation and installation paperwork accurately and on time.
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Availability to work overtime, stay late, or work outside standard hours when needed.
