Requirements

  • Be at least 21+ Years of Age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have 5 Years Industrial Security or 2 Years Military, LE, EMT or Fire Dept Services.
  • Certified and trained to national standards as a Fire Inspector based on plant and legal requirements.
  • FEMA Certification ISO700.b, ISO100.c.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
  • Control access at gates, docks, and designated entry points by verifying identification, logging visitors and/or vehicles, and directing traffic flow as needed.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, monitor alarms and/or surveillance systems, and communicate pertinent information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
