Strata-G is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Design Engineer with the following: Summary: Engineer responsible for Fire Protection Design. Below job requirements/preferred requirements relate to job tasks required for this position.
Requirements
- Five or more years of progressive and relevant experience in Fire Sprinkler System Design.
- Experience implementing programs and procedures to ensure employee and facility safety is in accordance with all OSHA, NFPA and Life Safety Code requirements.
- Ability to plan, self-perform tasks and multi-task on multiple projects.
- The position requires the ability to present information clearly and effectively through the oral and written word and utilize automated workflow systems.
- Must be able to coordinate verification and validation of documents with technical and operations personnel prior to release for approval and implementation.
- Ability to develop and maintain historical information.
- Ability to prepare, interpret, maintain, and incorporate requirements of technical drawings and operating documents.
- Ability to follow procedures and work within a rigorous work process.
Nice To Haves
- A Professional Engineering License (PE).
- Proficiency using hydraulic calculation software (HASS, etc).
- DOE work experience.
