Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or relevant field
  • Basic knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD
  • Fundamental to advanced drafting skills and ability to read and understand construction blueprints
  • Possess a willingness and desire to learn and be teachable
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and written to varied levels of audiences
  • Critical thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to problem-solve

Responsibilities

  • Support Designers with system layout, field surveys, and submittal documents
  • Utilize strong time management and multi-tasking to ensure deadlines are met
  • Continue to learn and apply knowledge of design software and NFPA codes while working on real-time projects
