Specialty work on fire trucks and ambulances Key Job Duties: Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, suspension, and air systems performing preventative maintenance and repairs on fire trucks and ambulances Accurately documenting repairs, labor time, and parts usage Completing safety inspections and ensuring vehicles are ready for service Maintaining a clean, safe work area and following OSHA and company safety standards Assisting other technicians as needed and working as part of a team
