Warner Bros. Studio Operations seeks a 1st Cook for the Food Services department.
Requirements
Must have 5 years cooking experience in a high-volume banquet facility, hotel/conference center, or fine dining restaurant, with a demonstrated ability to prep a grill, sauté, cook, and prepare sauces in a fast-paced environment.
A valid ServSAFE Food Handling Certificate is required. This demonstrates a commitment to the cleanliness of the kitchen areas, and commitment to food and physical safety.
Must have good verbal communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include working beyond the standard shift of approximately 8 hours per day. Working some weekends and holidays may be required.
Standard shift is approximately 7.5 hours per day, plus a 30-minute paid meal break, with a minimum of 6 hours worked.
Physical exertion requiring standing for long periods, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maneuvering heavy weights up to 50+ lbs.
Responsibilities
Duties include leading stations, preparing, cooking, and serving food for the Food Services department.
These meals are prepared and served at the Commissary, and other parts of the lot, and Special Events.
