About the position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-line Product and Service Quality Manager (Level K) to join the Core Quality Team located in Renton, Washington on 2nd shift. The 737 team is looking for a First-Line quality manager to support Core Quality. This group supports all groups of the quality organization. The candidate will be supporting a team of 10 to 15 quality inspectors. This manager will be reporting to a senior quality manager in support of onsite activities. Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and motivate employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services, and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures, and government regulations.
  • Provide education, coaching, and review of Quality Management System.
  • Develop and maintain relationships, partnerships, and communication with customers, collaborators, peers, partners, suppliers, and team.
  • Develop and implement business plans, policies, and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
  • Acquire and manage resources and leads process improvements.
  • Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft assembly.
  • 3+ years working with Product Definition Data.
  • 3+ years of experience with Root Cause Analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS).
  • 3+ years of experience with the Material Review Board (MRB) Process.
  • Willing to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of experience working on the 737 Program.
  • 3+ years of experience in a factory environment.
  • 3+ years' experience working with data systems.
  • Experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
