Flat Roll Group Product Manager-Metallic Coated

About the position

The primary focus of this position will be the day-to-day administration of the metallic coated product mix, pricing, and facility loading, and assistance of the same for painted products, for the Butler Division.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and professionally
• Recommend pricing guidelines based upon inquiry and order entry activity and upon insight gleaned from pricing feedback from sales team, from trade publications, from market indices, from import trends, etc.
• Field and respond to routine customer inquiries from the sales team
• Coordinate pricing, order placement, and facility loading with the balance of the Product Management team at other Flat Roll Group divisions

• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• High energy, team-oriented
• Some overnight travel will be required
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• This position will reside at the Butler Division

Nice-to-haves

• The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of our flat roll products and the typical markets that we serve
• 4-year degree in relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
• Carbon flat roll marketing and/or sales experience
