About The Position

Reporting to the Fleet Administration Manager, the Fleet Asset & Systems Administrator will be an integral part of our Fleet and Equipment Teams working daily with our Equipment Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance and Controllership Teams. In this position, the Fleet Asset and Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our data, managing availability of assets, and will support team in asset lifecycle. This is a critical role in our Fleet Operations as the position will own key process in the asset lifecycle working cross-functionally and with our external vendors. This position would have less than 10% of travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, finance, supply chain, or equivalent experience in Fleet Management with certifications.
  • 3+ years of experience in fleet management or other discipline that required maintainenace of critical business information.
  • Detailed orientated.
  • Critical thinking skills with ability to independently mine, transform, and analyze large amounts of data using various systems and data analytics tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with using various ERP / MRP systems (JDE, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time, though this will be limited.

Nice To Haves

  • Procurement certifications, such as: CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM.
  • Experience and understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Knowledge of big data, working in Power BI, and ability digitize KPI’s.
  • Business acumen with ability to translate results to balance sheet.
  • Experience in infrastructure construction, manufacturing, and/or subcontracting.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the processes around the makeup, locations, availability, and lifecycle of our fleet of vehicles.
  • Maintain both internal and external systems critical to our understanding of our fleet.
  • Evaluate, report out on, and reconcile system discrepancies on but not limited to, status, equipment type, description, location, crew assignment, etc.
  • Maintain key certifications, warranties, and compliance records.
  • Lead weekly operating mechanisms to drive key KPI’s around availability and utilization, with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Work cross-functionally with Equipment Manufacturing, Controllership, Field Operations and Suppliers on new builds, rentals and disposals of our fleet assets. Ensure systems are updated in timely manner.
  • Participate in daily production meetings, internal/external licensing and registration meetings, and other key operating mechanisms.
  • Identify process simplification areas, digitization efforts (PowerBI), and work with team to drive improvements.
