About The Position

SUMMARY : This position is responsible for leading and directing the Tyson private fleet transportation team to achieve business and financial objectives. Responsibilities include: Driver management. On time service management. Driver safety management. Driver and load problem resolution. Other duties as assigned. 2nd Shift (Overnight/F lexible schedule ): Could be 12 hour shift (6:00PM - 6:00AM) or 10 hour shift (5:00PM - 3:00AM).

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 year in transportation preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Tyson Business Computer Systems, Sale Inventory SAP Transportation, and Warehousing Systems is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Supervisory: Acts as a team leader, providing functional supervision and training for other team members.
• Travel: Occasional domestic trips (1-5 per year).
