About the position

Chesapeake Bank is a top-performing financial institution with a mission to help businesses grow by providing access to capital. The Flexent Program, including its transportation subsidiary Flexent Freight Funding, is seeking a candidate responsible for developing and maintaining business opportunities. This role involves tracking and vetting potential opportunities for Flexent sales and communicating service updates to District Sales Managers (DSM’s). The position requires management of the application, underwriting, and closing systems used by Flexent. Candidates may work out of the Richmond, Williamsburg, or Gloucester markets.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and managing promotional and advertising campaigns, both online and in print
  • Tracking data and metrics from social media posts and brand promotions
  • Management of social media and website
  • Create & manage Smart Sheets as needed for the improvement of workflow
  • Manage and maintain HubSpot and Constant Contact systems
  • Assist with the implementation of digitizing forms and closing documents
  • Prepare and update pitch kits for the DSM’s
  • Vetting any requests received for Flexent to determine if they would be a fit for Flexent or Flexent Freight and scheduling appointments with the DSM’s
  • Assist in all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, underwriting, and closing
  • Responsible for ongoing management & updates of the application, underwriting & closing platform - Decipher
  • Understand the role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • College Degree in Business, Accounting or equivalent experience/education
  • Good understanding of computers, software and the internet
  • Excellent communication skills
