Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree
Highly motivated with a positive attitude
Proficient computer skills with the ability and desire to learn new systems and processes
Strong math skills
Detail-oriented with fine attention to detail
Problem-solver with the ability to make independent decisions

Responsibilities

Moves and/or replaces pallets or large rolls between production, staging areas, and receiving
Operates powered industrial equipment, receive raw materials to place in inventory, and ship finished goods
Delivers supplies to production lines and moves rolls between production and staging areas
Cross trains on various pouch and rollstock equipment. This includes the slitting machine, roll coater or pouch converting line
Performs roll changes, return to stock, prep job jackets, and assist operators with setup and cleanup
Wraps, bands, labels, and packs finished products according to customer specifications
Performs general housekeeping in production and warehouse areas; sweeps and maintains organization in the production area
Assists in developing and maintaining the department’s Standard Operating Procedures
Troubleshoots and problem-solves issues that arise
Completes any required paperwork and/or documentation in an accurate manner
