About The Position

Are you a Sous Chef looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers? Immanuel Communities is seeking an experienced Full Time floating Sous Chef to work at Omaha Immanuel communities. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule that is able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts will be 6a-2p and 11-7p. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. Requirements

  • Two (2) years of cooking experience above the level of fast food or fast casual dining is required.
  • BLS Certificaton (Basic Life Support) or willing to obtain is required (Immanuel will pay for the training).
  • Minimum age of 19 years old is required.

Responsibilities

  • The responsibilities of this job is to support the culinary needs of all Immanuel Communities.
  • Will float among all Immanuel Communities based on the needs of each location, ensuring high-quality food is prepared, apportioned, and presented in an appealing manner to residents.
  • The incumbent may be assigned to oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities, kitchen projects or special events, certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen, inventory management and oversees the kitchen function when the Team Lead of Food & Nutrition Services/General Manager/Executive Chef is not available.
