About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Project Technician to join our essential team. This role is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and restoring a variety of floor surfaces in commercial facilities using specialized equipment and techniques.

Requirements

1–2 years of floor care experience preferred but not required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, kneeling, reaching, etc.).
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability to work nights, with occasional weekends and daytime shifts.
Must be able to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.

Responsibilities

Perform floor care services including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
Clean and maintain carpeted and hard floor surfaces using ServiceMaster tools and procedures.
Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
Identify flooring types and apply appropriate cleaning methods.
Move furniture and prepare areas for cleaning.
Disinfect floors and spot clean as needed.
Perform additional services such as window cleaning, pressure washing, and janitorial support.
Open and secure facilities, including enabling/disabling security systems.
Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
