About The Position

As a Brackets Flow Line Tech, you will work in a flowline where parts move from one process to another. In the role you will be removing the burr from parts that were lasered before moving to subsequent processes such as reaming, countersinking, and marking. You will be on your feet all day at a workstation, but you will be moving frequently. Location: Eastford, CT This is a full-time role 7:00 am to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions within the work order

Nice To Haves

  • Strong Mechanical skills
  • Ability to be on your feet all day
  • Ability to use air and electric tools to remove metal
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Understanding and reading basic blueprint skill is a plus
  • Self-starter/motivated team player

Responsibilities

  • Deburr metal details using hand tools to remove burr from cutting
  • Countersink and ream holes with presses and hand tools
  • Marking parts using electronic etch or dot peen
  • Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment and quick-check gaging
  • Use Kaizen to flow parts and drive down costs
  • Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time according to Company policy
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
