About The Position

As a Fluid Recovery Technician at Fenix Parts, you will be responsible for safely draining fluids and recovering valuable and/or reusable components from scrap autos. Your role is crucial in ensuring that automobiles are safe for customer access and prepared for the salvage yard.

Requirements

• Skills: Demonstrate mechanical abilities.
• Ability to use basic tools.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, push, pull, bend, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to tolerate high and low temperature levels associated with outdoor working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Fluid Recovery: Safely drain fluids and recover valuable components from scrap autos.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that automobiles are safe for customer access.
• Component Removal: Remove all fluids, lubricants, and valuable components as required.
• Preparation: Prepare automobiles to be placed in the salvage yard.
• Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Documentation: Complete paperwork as required.
