We are hiring Front Of House Support positions at our Ballpark Village location including Food Runners & Bussers ! These positions are both seasonal and expected to last up to six (6) months. Requirements

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
Able to work in a face paced environment.
Able to stand and be on feet for extended periods of time in varied climate conditions.
Able to carry and lift up to 50 lbs at times.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Scheduled days and times may vary based on business needs.
Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Able to communicate efficiently and respectfully.
Ability to go up and down stairs.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1 to 2 years of runner, busser, or server experience in a high volume, or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Bussing tables is one of the most important roles we have.
Pre-bussing at the end of the meal, clearing any remaining glasses or plates, and wiping/resetting tables all need to happen at the first chance possible so that it does not interfere with the guest experience.
The goal is to facilitate a fast flow of the restaurant while maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality.
Stock and set-up service stations.
Pre-Bus, clean and set tables efficiently.
Keep the restaurant clean and organized.
Assist with spills, taking out linen bags and trash, restocking.
Assist with table service, including delivering beverages and food from the kitchen, refill glasses as needed.
Deliver excellent customer service.
Handle customer requests in a timely manner.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Organize plates according to tickets as they appear in the window.
Check plates for accuracy according to ticket modifications and allergy and dietary restrictions.
Finish plates with any garnishments necessary.
Ensure that meals are plated properly and presented according to standards before leaving the kitchen.
Operate as the primary communication point between servers and kitchen staff should any issues or modifications arise.
Deliver plates to guests using our seat numbering system with excellent customer service.
Answer any questions guests may have about their meals or requests for additional items they may need.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen according to sanitation procedures.
Pre-bus any empty dishes or glassware from tables as you see them.
Package to go orders accurately and deliver to the host stand.
Ensure that ticket time standards are being met at all times and problem solve if they are not.
Stock to go stations, plate racks, and assist with any food preparation needed by the kitchen manager.
Other duties as assigned.
