About the position

The Commercial Marketing Manager - Foodservice is a cross-functional role supporting the execution and growth of our Food Away From Home business. This role bridges brand marketing, project management, and customer activation, driving both operational excellence and strategic brand execution. This individual will lead day-to-day commercialization activities such as label refreshes, item setup, and artwork coordination, while also developing compelling customer-facing materials, including selling tools, pitch decks, and category stories. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, the Commercial Marketing Manager will also contribute to new product innovation, support culinary-led initiatives, and participate in key customer meetings and trade events to champion brand presence and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a commercialization point of contact for cross-functional teams and brokers
  • Lead and track label updates, artwork revisions, and packaging changes in partnership with Regulatory, R&D, and Supply Chain
  • Manage item setup and customer system requirements for packaging approvals and product specs
  • Maintain up-to-date master item lists, spec sheets, and digital asset files
  • Develop and maintain customer-ready decks, sell sheets, and operator collateral
  • Partner with Culinary and Sales to create menu ideation materials and operator-facing content
  • Support trade shows, sampling kits, operator toolkits, and distributor playbooks
  • Track and update customer presentations and success stories
  • Participate in innovation meetings and contribute to new product pipeline ideas
  • Help develop operator and distributor insights to guide brand positioning and messaging
  • Join customer meetings and support brand storytelling alongside Sales and Marketing
  • Help coordinate brand and product training for brokers or distributor partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in foodservice-specific marketing, commercialization, or brand/project management required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and proactive
  • Comfortable working across functions (Culinary, Sales, R&D, Regulatory, Creative)
  • Experienced with presentation design, project timelines, and content development required
  • Understanding of foodservice customer dynamics (distributors, operators, brokers) a must
