About The Position

WE ARE SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED FOOD AND BEVERAGE LEADER WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT CREATING INCREDIBLE DINING EXPERIENCES!! The Kenwood, a Senior Star community, is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Director to join our team. The Food and Beverage Director is responsible for the overall management, planning, and execution of all F&B operations for our Senior Living community. The F&B Director is responsible for leading and inspiring a team of talented associates, while overseeing all operation of the kitchens and dining rooms to ensure a high-quality dining experience for all Senior Star residents. As a Food and Beverage Director, a typical day will include: Providing a high-quality, five-star dining experience for residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living & Memory Care Leading and inspiring a dynamic, talented team of food and beverage associates; Recruiting, training and mentoring staff. Planning and promoting an innovative, elevated food services program that: satisfies a wide variety of customer preferences and tastes, promotes proper nutrition and wellness, delivers on resident satisfaction requests, and implements improvement strategies as needed, and differentiates the Dublin Retirement Village dining experience. Managing food and supply inventory, maintaining records and meal cost summaries, developing and adhering to budgets Overseeing the sanitation and regulations of food service, including OSHA and safety regulations Interacting with residents, their families, and other department associates

Requirements

• Food and beverage management experience
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire others as a true servant leader
• Knowledge of productivity, costs and budgets, purchasing and receiving
• Strong organizational and promotional skills
• Computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Senior Housing experience preferred
• Experience as an Executive Chef preferred
• Hospitality, banquets, event planning experience preferred
