About The Position

This position is responsible for setting up stations, performing side work and assisting with other opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Food Runner setting up various work stations
• Relevant experience in a fine dinning a la carte restaurant
• Must have experience in a fast paced, upscale, high volume environment
• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English
• Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Sets up stations, performs side work and other opening and closing procedures as directed by supervisor, which could include helping other employees in their assigned tasks
• Tenders all checks to cash, credit, comp, room charge or coupon for guests, when applicable
• Actively interacts with guest, sells, up-sells, orders food and beverage items
• Delivers the highest level of service to all guests according to Bar Americain service standards
• Keeps assigned section at optimal conditions regarding cleanliness, sanitation and organization
• Maintains all equipment including glassware, plate ware, flatware and beverage products
