Support Food Safety Excellence for a Global Biopharmaceutical Leader Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Food Safety Manager 2 to support a strong safety culture for our corporate client partnership in NJ / PA. This role is ideal for a food safety professional who is detail‑oriented, collaborative, and committed to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. The Unit Food Safety Manager 2 plays a key role in day‑to‑day safety operations, supporting both Sodexo leadership and our global life sciences client. Requirements

  • Foundational experience in workplace food safety, facilities, industrial operations, or a related environment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards, food safety basics, and local health or environmental regulations.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to identify hazards and support corrective actions.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to deliver basic safety training and guidance.
  • Experience conducting inspections, documenting findings, and supporting compliance activities.
  • A collaborative, reliable, and safety‑minded approach to supporting daily operations.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Support daily Food safety operations by promoting proactive, prevention‑focused practices across the site.
  • Assist with compliance to OSHA standards, food safety requirements, local health regulations, and client‑specific protocols.
  • Conduct routine inspections, reporting, and basic risk assessments to identify hazards and support corrective actions.
  • Deliver and reinforce safety training, toolbox talks, and safety communications for frontline teams and contractors.
  • Monitor contractor work practices, permit compliance, and adherence to established safety procedures.
  • Support the implementation and upkeep of safety policies related to occupational health, environmental controls, and regulatory programs
