About The Position
The Food Server serves guests and patrons of the Mohegan Sun Country Club according to department policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous food serving experience
- Must have experience in a fast paced, upscale, high volume environment
- Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English
- Basic knowledge of spirits, beers, wines and beverage service techniques
- Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
Responsibilities
- Services guests in the restaurant according to specific department procedures
- Sets up stations, does sidework and other opening and closing duties, as directed by the Restaurant Manager
- Assists with arranging the room and setting tables for special events, as needed
- Participates in the cashier function
- Up-sells products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities
- May be asked to fill in as a Bartender, as needed
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work area
