What You'll Do as a Food Service Assistant Manager: Coordinate daily café operations to ensure smooth food production, service, and team workflow. Oversee ordering, inventory, and production of weekly meal plans, grab-n-go meals, and marketplace products. Supervise & support team members through training, scheduling, and mentoring. Maintain Clean Eatz standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and operational procedures. Lead by example while promoting the company's core values and creating a positive team environment. Deliver excellent customer service while serving as a visible representative of the Clean Eatz brand. Educate customers about café offerings, meal plans, grab-n-go meals, catering, and marketplace products. Support marketing initiatives, special promotions, and limited-time menu offerings. Our Ideal Food Service Assistant Manager: Experienced: 2+ years in an assistant manager or leadership role and 3-5 years of customer service experience in a restaurant or food service environment—strong knowledge of food safety systems. ServSafe Manager certification preferred. Leader: Motivates and supports team members while setting a positive example through professionalism, dependability, and integrity. Communicator: Listens well, asks good questions, and communicates clearly with customers and team members. Organized: Detail-oriented and analytical, able to manage multiple responsibilities while keeping operations running smoothly. Service-minded: Calm under pressure, adaptable in a fast-paced café environment, and committed to serving customers well. Computer Savvy: Comfortable using POS systems, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based tools. Active: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, and move throughout shifts. Requirements
