About The Position
Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following TEMPORARY position for the 2025-2026 school year: Location: District/Utility Position: Food Service Assistant Hours: 3 hours per day Temporary employees are defined as “employees hired for a specific period not to exceed the equivalent of ninety (90) consecutive working days.” Vision We Are GP! Requirements
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card upon date of hire.
- Knowledge of methods and ability to prepare main dishes, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and other foods; work with recipe portion counts; basic kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Ability to supervise student helpers if required, handle money.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees and ability to get along well with students.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.
