About The Position
Are you a Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers? Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide to work at Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Newport House has 24 skilled nursing/rehabilitation and 72 long-term care suites. The schedule for this position is Friday 10:30am-7:00pm, Saturday 3:00pm-7:00pm, and Sunday 10:30am-7:00pm, including holidays. Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this position. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour . Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
Requirements
- Previous food service experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) or willing to obtain certification if hired is required.

Responsibilities
- Assisting in patient tray line assembly
- Loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher
- Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons
- Operates the cash register
- Maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria
