Requirements

  • have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • have basic culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • have the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
  • Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or EquivalentMinimum Management Experience - 1 year

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for inventory managementand procurement operations of food and supplies to ensure account retention.
  • Directs daily operations of inventory and procurement operations of food and supplies toensure employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their jobsand meet goals, cost controls and deadlines.
  • Provides input to estimate food consumption in order to procure appropriate amount ofsupplies.
  • Manages the budget by controlling costs (e.g. labor, inventory, equipment, materials),complying with budget requirements and making adjustments when necessary.
  • Establishes a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training andequipment maintenance and by ensuring compliance with Sodexho safety and loss preventionprograms and with standards and procedures for the handling and storage of hazardousmaterials and/or waste.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/clientpolicies and procedures (e.g. quality assurance, safety, operations, personnel).
