About The Position

NVMHI is seeking a full time Food Service Technician to provide safe, quality, nutritional care to support the recovery of individuals with serious mental illness so that they may achieve more satisfying and productive lives. Position assists Food Service Technician II in food preparation, cafeteria service, cleaning and sanitation.

Requirements

• Overall knowledge and skill in food production, cooking, chilling, food service system.
• Knowledge of basic nutrition standards.
• Knowledge of correct methods of storage.
• Knowledge of correct sanitation standards.
• Ability to read menus and follow recipes.
• Ability to give and receive written and oral instructions.
