Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature outdoor environment
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak season hours
  • Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Comfortable working in outdoor heat and varying weather conditions
  • Food safety certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
  • Flexible schedule availability will be required based on business needs to include weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred (food truck, quick service, or high-volume environment a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines
  • Operate grills, fryers, flat tops, and other food truck equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Assist with food prep, stocking, and truck setup/breakdown
  • Maintain cleanliness of food truck, prep areas, and storage spaces, adhering to OSHA, HACCP, and company standards.
  • Follow all health department regulations and company policies
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to guests when interacting at the service window
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure quick service during peak times
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating deliveries (FIFO).
  • Complete storeroom requisitions for required items when requested.
  • Provide support to teammates with prep work, cleaning, and other assigned duties.
  • Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, equipment locations, and reporting protocols.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times, ensuring the assigned uniform is clean, pressed, and complete with the required nametag
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to meet business needs.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and brand service standards.
