About The Position

The Growth Finance & Operations Business Partner provides financial guidance and high-quality decision support for Marketing Leadership. This role demands the ability to think broadly and strategically as well as tactically and analytically. He/She will support the development and achievement of Marketing’s financial and strategic goals, leading financial input into marketing strategic planning, media spend optimization, and customer acquisition processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related quantitative analytical discipline
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in finance, ideally specifically supporting Marketing, E-commerce, or Growth functions. Experience must include proactively identifying business challenges, evaluating customer acquisition and retention data, and presenting financial information to executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytic, organization, and problem-solving skills which allow for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting.
  • Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels, including finance/operations managers and non-finance/operations managers.
  • Actionable Insights: Transforming marketing data into key insights to better diagnose and forecast customer acquisition performance, identify opportunities for spend efficiency, and drive sound business decisions.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate, interpret, and explain complex financial trade-offs (e.g., brand spend vs. performance spend) to all levels of the organization.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational, project, and process management skills.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning software; familiarity with Power BI and Marketing Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM data) is a plus.
  • Modeling: Ability to assimilate broad source data into marketing attribution and media mix models.
  • Reporting: Ability to write standard reports that clearly communicate findings, methodologies, and ROI projections.
  • Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English is required.
  • You MUST BE physically located in the United States while performing this job.

Nice To Haves

  • Pricing experience (management and analysis) is a plus.
  • MS/MA/MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and Marketing Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM data) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performance Optimization: Identify business issues and execute solutions to improve marketing ROI and overall financial performance.
  • Strategic Communication: Provide support to the growth and brand teams by applying advanced technical skills to effectively communicate the financial impact of marketing campaigns.
  • Financial Insight: Produce and oversee production of insightful analyses regarding Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), and marketing attribution models.
  • Pricing & Promotion: Analyze profitability of various marketing channels and TruGreen product lines; contribute financial rigor to pricing decisions, promotional discounts, and special offers.
  • Forecasting: Produce forecasts and statistical reports that align marketing spend with the achievement of the company’s annual operating plan and long-term financial goals.
  • Metric Management: Oversee the maintenance and reporting of marketing-specific operational metrics (e.g., ROAS, conversion rates) and provide complex profitability reporting.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Interpret financial and marketing results to identify leading practices, drive data-driven decision-making, and supply strategic recommendations to the CMO and Finance leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work across the organization to drive alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Finance in the strategic planning process.
