About The Position

JOB DETAILS: DATES: 27 April - 01 May TIME: 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM (tentatively) TEAM SIZE: 15 x Foreign Language RPs PAY RATE: $240 daily flat rate The ideal candidates should meet the following criteria: Be able to stay on script for the scenario without adlibbing or changing the scope of the scenario itself. Be willing to wear clothing to include costuming and headgear appropriate to the significance of the scenario training. Be able to operate various military weapons systems and fire marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after being instructed on the safe use of weapons. Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) including being engaged with marking cartridge weapons. Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude them from working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness. Shall be familiar with basic weapons handling including safety Be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods of time. Be comfortable with having trainees frisk and search them while they are restrained. Be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods of time with and without restraints. Be able to participate in scenario training where they should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment (personal protective equipment). Be able to wear safety equipment consisting of a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Requirements

  • Previous or current language examination, rating, or similar industry standard. The language requirement may be Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Korean, or some other.
  • Ability to work through interpreters.
  • Can confidently handle most basic social situations, such as introductions, casual conversations about current events, work, family, and autobiographical information.
  • Can handle limited work requirements, needing help in handling complications or difficulties.
  • Can get the gist of most conversations on non-technical subjects and has a speaking vocabulary sufficient to respond simply with some circumlocutions.
  • Has an accent which, though often quite faulty, is intelligible.
  • Can usually handle basic constructions quite accurately but does not have thorough or confident control of grammar.
