About The Position

The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business. The Trade Operations Analyst facilitates key import and export activities to support the strategic global manufacturing distribution trade model. Your in-depth knowledge and experience in import and export trade operations and compliance, including FTZ manufacturing sub zones, contributes to continuous improvement in a complex environment. The Trade Operations Analyst will work to achieve its cost and service goals by analyzing the flow of import-export transactions and developing improvements, employing in-depth knowledge and experience to answer questions regarding Incoterms, FTZ policies, Free Trade Zone operations, and trade compliance regulation matters. Provide operational Trade Compliance advice to diverse business groups, including supply chain, logistics, shipping, receiving, and sales operations, and work with cross-functional teams to drive program improvements. Optimize Trade Operations efficiencies, while emphasizing operational compliance. The role requires the candidate to interact with both internal and external partners at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Economics, Finance, or closely related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in a similar role

  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS)

Responsibilities

  • Execution of U.S. import operations across FTZ and non FTZ shipments
  • Processing of inbound shipments in accordance with U.S. Customs, FTZ regulations, and internal import policies
  • Management of bonded shipping, bonded receiving, FTZ admissions, removals, and non FTZ consumption flows
  • Coordination with brokers, carriers, FTZ administrators, and warehouses to ensure accurate and timely import processing
  • Collection and validation of import operations data from brokers, FTZ administrators, and third party providers
  • Monitoring of entry timeliness, inventory accuracy, exception trends, and duty exposure.
  • Development and maintenance of dashboards and KPIs supporting import performance, compliance, and cost visibility
  • Identification of process gaps, root causes, and inefficiencies within FTZ and non FTZ import workflows
  • Implementation of corrective actions related to customs entry execution, bonded inventory control, and import documentation
  • Standardization of import procedures to improve consistency, reduce errors, and strengthen compliance outcomes
  • Maintenance of import related SOPs, FTZ manuals, and work instructions for day to day execution
  • Documentation of end to end import processes, including broker interactions, inventory movements, and entry filing requirements
  • Support of import and FTZ process training through clear, repeatable work instructions
  • Monitoring of customs entries, bonded filings, FTZ admissions, removals, and AES submissions
  • Identification and resolution of import discrepancies, errors, and data inconsistencies
  • Support of internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance risk mitigation related to import operations
