As a member of the Fleet Maintenance team, you’ll play a key role in helping deliver happiness to our customers by ensuring all preventative maintenance and general repairs are completed on our vehicle haulers and trailers in a timely manner and up to Carvana standards. We’re looking for motivated team players with at least 5 years of experience working with heavy equipment to: Effectively oversee day-to-day operations within the assigned technician team. Proactively provide the team with a clear understanding of expectations, performance measures, goals, and feedback. Manage invoices for all repairs completed by third-party vendors at this location. Manage parts room(s) according to guidelines provided by the Centralized Parts Team. Maintain accurate and legal records for respective ELD and fleet programs. Diagnose (using engine diagnostic equipment) and perform general, preventative maintenance, and DVIR for all heavy equipment. Use welders, torches, and plasma cutters to weld or fabricate broken parts.
