Pipe Foreman Key Duties and Responsibilities Instill Safety as a top priority. Provides on-site supervision and direction to crew members. Familiar with project specifications and ability to understand plans. Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel. Ensure crew time cards are filled out and submitted weekly. Fill out daily foreman reports. Analyze and resolve issues that may arise. Ability to explain and understands survey and grade staking (Lasers, Transits, and GPS) Manage all excavating activities for your crew. Other duties as assigned. Pipe Layer and Backhoe Operator Key Duties and Responsibilities Performing tasks involving physical labor /or operating for pipe installation on construction sites General cleanup of the site Unloading, handling and stockpiling material Placing, pushing, pulling and shoveling Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

2+ years experience as a pipe foreman/layer/backhoe operator in the Highway Heavy Civil Construction Industry
Knowledgeable in OSHA standards
Must be familiar with heavy equipment
Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Ability to work with tools and equipment such as, power and non-power tools
Frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb and periodically lift up to 50lbs
Communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Ability to manage time, multitask and prioritize
Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies

Responsibilities
