Forman Responsibilities Production Job Flow Pre and Post work meetings including daily tasks for all crew members and a map of the work Pivots based off job changes Daily crew expectations and goals Take photos of damaged items before proceeding with any tree work Avoid turf and property damage Moral Gauge moral and see how the crew is doing Set goals for each guy per trip and try to incorporate them into the daily tasks Safety Hazard ID (Powerlines, Cracks, holes, pedestrians, bus stops, etc) Keep roads, homes and job clean Location for job information and paperwork Keep residents and crew members safe at all times Make sure crew is always wearing work supplied helmets, shirts, and chainsaw pants at all times Communication Daily Paperwork Clean and readable PDF’s with proper heading Daily sheet Site Map Job Briefing Damage report Receipt tracking for all expenses Inventory Tree Plotter data uploads daily If a tree cannot be completed, make sure you add a description and a photo why Take a completed picture roughly 10-15’ away to get some surroundings in the photo Add before/after photos of any damages before and after the work CM Communication Introduction- Review the scope of work and your job plan Daily- review the job plan before and after the day is over Notify immediately before and after any damages where work is taking place Guage CM moral and report to GF if anything changes End of job review- Drive them around, CLEAN TRUCK CM sign off Logistics Hotel booking for all crew members Dump site expense awareness and affordable dump searching Crew member transportation to and from the airport Inventory used over the trip and what is needed for the next trip Clean/Organize trailer Crew vehicles and equipment need to be cleaned inside and out Equipment Daily inspections Daily greasing and fluid checks Repairs and handling repairs of equipment
