About The Position

A multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Forensics Engineer for their growing office in Windsor! Responsibilities: Conduct residential and commercial forensic investigations to analyze/determine structural damage for insurance companies, attorneys, private homeowners and property owners Investigate and assess damage due to catastrophes Prove evaluations are correct by researching technical publications and literature Apply engineering principles and practices in accordance with codes and industry standards Provide client with detailed forensic engineering reports outlining cause and origin of damage Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines Provide clients and team with timelines and project updates Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering or closely related discipline required Master’s Degree preferred 6+ years of experience in architectural or engineering 1+ year of forensic engineering experience required E.I.T. required PE License or RA License preferred Experience working with law firms and insurance companies preferred Experience with depositions and expert testimony preferred Prefer management and supervisory experience Experience with premises and walking surface investigations Experience with product defect cases preferred Candidates with experience in accident reconstruction and automotive failure analysis considered Salary is commensurate with experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering or closely related discipline required
  • 6+ years of experience in architectural or engineering
  • 1+ year of forensic engineering experience required
  • E.I.T. required
