FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND CONSUMER SERVICES FLORIDA FOREST SERVICE INTERNAL AGENCY OPPORTUNITY--ONLY CURRENT EMPLOYEES OF THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENTOF AGRICULTURE AND CONSUMER SERVICES WILL BE CONSIDERED. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in forestry and three (3) years of professional, administrative or supervisory forestry experience; or A master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in forestry and two (2) years of experience as described above. Experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education. In addition to the above, requirements under Florida Statute 633 must be met. Must be a nonuser of tobacco or tobacco products for at least one year immediately preceding application. NOTE: THE INCUMBENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE PRESCRIBED NUMBER OF HOURS OF FIRE RECRUIT TRAINING WITHIN THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD. NOTE: ALL POSITIONS WITHIN THIS CLASS REQUIRE POSSESSION OF A VALID DRIVER LICENSE.
