About the position

The VISTA Member will fight poverty by expanding access to career readiness programs, hands-on training, and mentorship in the skilled trades which will equip individuals with the skills, knowledge, and connections necessary to secure stable, high-paying jobs in high-demand industries to achieve economic self-sufficiency, build stronger communities, and create lasting pathways to success.

Responsibilities

• Expand access to career readiness programs
• Facilitate hands-on training in skilled trades
• Provide mentorship to individuals seeking careers in high-demand industries
• Equip individuals with skills and knowledge for stable employment
• Build stronger communities through economic self-sufficiency

• Experience in fundraising and grant writing
