About The Position

The Forklift Operator / Zinc Bar Maker is responsible for producing zinc bars to specification while safely operating a forklift to move materials within the facility. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and comfort working in an outdoor covered manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Forklift experience required (any level of experience accepted).
• Prior experience with metal cutting preferred; strong attention to detail is required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions in an outdoor covered area (plant doors remain open).
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture zinc bars according to production specifications.
• Perform precision metal cutting, ensuring zinc bars are cut accurately to 42 inches.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials from point A to point B within the work area.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
