About The Position
Tasks given by Shipping Manager/Production Manager daily, ensure that your responsibilities are completed in a Safe Manner, while ensuring Quality of product and Efficiencies are exceeded.
Requirements
- High degree of professionalism along with organizational skills, tact, and diplomacy.
- Organizational Skills (5s)
- Forklift License
- Medical Card
Responsibilities
- Audit Certain shipment (write out lot #'s)
- Make sure all items are labeled and correct before putting on shipping truck
- Must know location of shipping parts
- Print and have drivers sign correct copies of bills
- Keep shipping area organized
- Must use pick tickets
- Sort/clean/etc. when not busy moving material or receiving
- Assist in the problem solving and continuous improvement processes
- Work overtime with little or no notice
- Communicate and work effectively with direct reports, peers, and management
