About The Position

By leveraging over five decades of manufacturing expertise and employing an extensive technologies portfolio, we design, manufacture, and finish incomparable stock and customized solutions for numerous markets. Material Handler is responsible for making sure that all production areas have the materials that they need, when they need them, and in the amount they need. They are also responsible for keeping our inventory accurate by making inventory moves in the system and completing cycle counts as needed.

Requirements

Experience with forklift, pallet jack, RF scanner, and/or cherry picker is preferred
Strong basic math skills (must be able to pass a basic math test)
Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more
Basic computer skills and ability to fill out daily paperwork
Warehouse experience is preferred
Ability to stand or walk for a lengthy amount of time
Demonstrated history of excellent attendance and reliability
Ability to work independently
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice
Ability to successfully complete all required training

Responsibilities

Monitor and process workflow through operations – for both Anodizing and Assembly departments: Initiating transfer orders.
Verify all incoming parts are properly bar coded, tagged, and scanned to the correct location.
Assist with inventory moves from plant to off-site warehouse locations.
Track movement of parts, including control lots, through all operations within the facility.
Monitor accuracy of inventory moves in SyteLine from receiving, anodizing, assembly, and any hold or inspection materials.
Staging or other warehouse materials ensure proper raw product is staged and production lines are stocked with the current day’s production needs.
Research and resolve any/all negative inventory issues.
Review and report any discrepancies to Logistics Manager.
Perform Warehouse back-up duties.
Assist with all physical inventories on or offsite.
Assist with any other duties and projects as required by Plant or Warehouse Supervisor.
