About The Position

Join us as we grow! Our new Randolph, MN location is set to open its doors in early May 2026, and we are beginning the hiring process now. We will be reviewing applications and interviewing on a rolling basis, allowing us to adjust start dates to fit your schedule and business needs. To get you started on the right foot, this position includes a required in-person training period at our Le Sueur, MN facility before transitioning to your permanent role in Randolph. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing our local operations, blending technical skill with a proactive mindset to ensure our new facility remains cutting-edge and efficient. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results while adhering to industry best practices and Cambria’s high standards of excellence. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move materials and products within the raw material quartz processing facility. This role involves transporting materials to designated areas, supporting inventory operations, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain any required certifications for equipment operation (e.g., MSHA).
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation, material handling.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to perform pre-shift equipment checks and basic maintenance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions in English, both written and verbal.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to transport raw materials, finished products, and other materials to designated areas within the facility.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and railcars, and stage them for processing or shipment.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the forklift, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall condition, and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Operate the forklift safely and efficiently, following all company procedures and safety regulations.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Shift Supervisor and other team members to coordinate material movement and support production needs.
  • Monitor material flow and ensure a smooth supply of materials to production areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials transported and handled.
  • Assist with general site clean-up and organization as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings and training.
  • Utilize barcode scanning systems to track and manage inventory movement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in material handling and storage.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or operational issues to the Shift Supervisor.
