About The Position

The forklift operator is responsible for the safe handling of Adams Beverages products in the warehouse. This general warehouse assignment requires the candidate to perform duties such as truck loading, unloading, receiving, replenishing, counting inventory, and dock management. The Warehouse employee must understand all company policies and procedures. This position reports directly to the Shift Warehouse Mangers, Director of Operations, COO, VP’s, Branch Managers, and Ownership. This is a non-exempt position and is subject to overtime calculations.

  • Forklift Certification
  • 3-5 years of experience with material delivery or distribution preferred
  • High School Diploma required or GED equivalent
  • Excellent physical ability; Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds (unassisted) repeatedly over the course of the day.
  • In addition, they are required to functionally lift and maneuver up to 165 pounds (with limited assistance of a hand truck or lifting implement).
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • Ability to withstand the physically demands of repeated lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects
  • The physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Warehouse Employee job.   • While performing the responsibilities of the Warehouse Employee, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Maintain all certification required to operate equipment
  • Ensure loads are built and loaded accurately in a timely manner
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Proper stock rotation according to Anheuser Busch
  • Uphold appearance and sanitation of facility
  • Safe and careful handling of all inventory
  • Prepare and sort damaged product for repack
  • Preserve general maintenance of equipment
  • Report safety concerns immediately
  • Continued education programs as required
